Every year, more students buy their books online. With the MBS Systems inSite Web Commerce Solution, your store can stay competitive in the online marketplace. Using the inSite application, you’ll quickly and easily build and manage a great looking, fully functioning website where:
Students can purchase and reserve textbooks
Faculty can browse titles and submit adoptions
All shoppers can purchase merchandise, keep a wish list of desired goods, and collect and redeem loyalty points

The inSite Solution provides you with absolutely everything you need to take your bookstore to the Web, capture previously out-of-reach Internet sales, and defend against online competition. And, as is the case with all of our Hosted Solutions, MBS Systems takes care of everything for you. inSite is easy to use and browser-based, hosted and supported by MBS, and requires no expensive hardware or software for your store.
Image   A Total Store Solution, Fully Integrated and Synchronized
Your inSite-managed online bookstore is a component of your MBS Total Store Solution. Because inSite is fully integrated in real time with all of your other MBS applications, any activity that takes place online is automatically and instantly reflected in all of your MBS applications. This powerful communication ensures that everything is up to date all of the time. As well, all online transactions are encrypted for security and meet current Visa compliance standards. The inSite application delivers full credit-card authorization and settlement, and acceptance of alternative tenders defined by the store (Student Financial Aid, Gift Cards, etc.) is handled with ease.

• Electronic Payment Processing:
MBS Systems inSite provides multiple card processor options for your secure electronic payment tender requirements. These processors provide card authorization and settlement and all sales transactions are automatically posted to MBS Systems back-office applications seamlessly.
• Loyalty Rewards Program Integration
With the MBS Systems Loyalty Module, customers purchasing at the store POS and through your website are rewarded with points redeemable for valuable merchandise or services. You choose the items you’ll offer as rewards, and you set the point-value for each item via a Loyalty Rewards Catalog that you create and control using inSite. The catalog is available to customers online, and it is here that shoppers can view their points and cash them in for bookstore products.
• Text Management Integration
Because inSite is connected to your MBS Text Management System, any changes you make within Text-Aid, TA2, or TAonline are reflected on your website. Updates to courses, prices, rental fees, and editions are completely synchronized so no uploads or manual inventory adjustments are needed. inSite automatically matches your books with cover images to add graphic representation to your online textbook products for sale and for rent, saving you countless hours.
• Textbook Rentals and Universal Digital Textbooks Integration
If your bookstore rents textbooks to students, and you’re using the MBS Textbook Rentals application, you can now offer this option online. Students can simply choose which books they would like to rent, and your inSite website will capture all of the information that is needed to process the rental. Additionally, inSite can now be used to sell, activate, and download eBooks for those bookstores using the MBS Universal Digital Textbooks Module within their Text Management applications.
• General Merchandise Integration
With inSite, you can sell more than textbooks online. With the MBS General Merchandise Module or the GMonline application, your store can easily create online catalogs where you control the look and feel of all merchandise presented. From sweatshirts to general books, inSite can handle it all.
• UPS Shipping Integration
With this feature, customers can check the progress of their orders online, which means fewer inquiries for your staff to respond to. Once an order leaves the bookstore, the inSite application automatically sends the customer an email containing a link to the package’s UPS tracking number. The customer can click the link at any time to check the shipment’s progress.
• Registrar/Student Schedule Integration
Students with Web access to their registration information and schedules can link directly to the textbook ordering section of your inSite-managed online bookstore. Here they’re able to view their courses and required texts, and with one click (the inSite application automatically imports all of the required course materials), they’re ready for checkout.
• Faculty Center Network Integration
Faculty can browse the Faculty Center Network database (detailed information and cover images for nearly 400,000 titles), submit their adoption lists directly to you, and then track their adoptions online. With inSite, adoptions go directly to your MBS Text Management application so you can process them quickly and easily.
