MBS Sales Audit
The MBS Sales Audit module creates a seamless interface with Daily Sales and General Ledger, providing after-the-fact cash register balancing capability. In addition to providing comprehensive reporting, this module allows for user-defined transaction and tender types, balances all daily transactions and tenders, automatically posts to the General Ledger, prints flash reports, and maintains all POS activities for online review.





MBS General Ledger
The MBS General Ledger module interfaces with the Sales Audit, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable applications to provide complete accounting of all financial transactions.

MBS Sales and Inventory Planning
The MBS Sales and Inventory Planning module provides the ability to manage store budgets and then easily change them from year to year as the need arises. Fully utilizing history, a sales plan can be created within your structure. Adding flexibility to this application is the capability to do weekly plans for the majority of the year, and daily plans for when it matters most: rush. With tremendous clarity in the application, you’ll be able to spot trends easily, allowing the store to quickly address inventory and promotional activity.

MBS Replenishment
The Replenishment module enhances the buying process by accessing the item/model/stock requirements. Suggested quantities are calculated from user-defined periods of sales history, with on-hand and on-order quantities and lead-time taken into consideration. Model purchase orders are created for the buyers’ review, modification, and release.

MBS Bad-Check Management
The MBS Bad-Check module interfaces bad-check data from the POS to the MBS TextAid buyback feature. This interface is performed automatically by the system at the option of the bookstore, providing an opportunity for you to collect debt when bad-check writers attempt to sell books at buyback. Accounts may be identified by account number, student ID, or other forms of identification (name, address, phone number). The application provides account bad-check management routines such as no check acceptance, maximum amount for single check or all checks, aged trial balance, etc.

MBS Barcode Feature
With this module, it’s never been easier to print easy-scanning barcodes for used textbooks and general merchandise.
